The comedian

Prolific young adult author and entertainer David Walliams is no longer with his publisher HarperCollins UK, according to an announcement.

A representative for the company commented: "After careful consideration, and under the leadership of its fresh leadership, HarperCollins UK has chosen to cease publishing additional books by David Walliams."

To date, he has released over four dozen titles combined, encompassing a holiday title called *Santa & Son*, which was released through HarperCollins in October.

He first rose to fame on the broadcast sketch program *Little Britain* and has also won National Television Awards for his role as a panelist on *Britain's Got Talent*.

This development follows the appointment of Kate Elton as HarperCollins UK's recent CEO in October.
